The Master's Degree in Project Management at the University for International Cooperation (UCI) is an internationally recognized program, accredited by the Global Accreditation Center (GAC) of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and CLADEA (Latin American Council of Management Schools). It prepares professionals to lead complex projects with strong leadership, a strategic vision and a focus on sustainability and regeneration.
Based on an experiential- and competency-based learning model, the program offers training in predictive, agile, and hybrid methodologies, while supporting students in obtaining internationally recognized certifications such as: Scrum Master Qualified (SMQ),® Design Thinking Qualified (DTQ),® Agile Change Management Qualified (ACMQ),® and preparation for Green Project Management (GPM-b®) during their learning process.

Scholarship Eligibility
To be considered for this scholarship opportunity, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Complete the scholarship application form and submit the required documents to be pre-admitted to the UCI program of your choice.

Be a citizen or lawful permanent resident of any OAS Member State, except Costa Rica (OAS requirement).
The following applicants are not eligible:

Current OAS fellows.
-
Staff of the OAS General Secretariat, consultants, and their direct family members.

Permanent officials of the OAS and their immediate families.
Scholarship selection criteria:
Scholarship recipients will be selected based on:
-
Academic and professional merit of the candidate. In the case of candidates for master's degree programs, priority will be given to the grade point average obtained in the university degree.
-
Geographical distribution, prioritizing candidates from smaller and relatively less developed economies.
-
Gender diversity, promoting balanced representation.
-
Clarity and strength of the motivational statement, demonstrating a genuine commitment to the program.

What do you need to apply for the scholarship?
To apply, please complete the application form and upload the following documents:

Copy of your passport's data page.
-
Curriculum vitae (maximum 4 pages).
-
A letter of motivation explaining your interest in studying the program of your choice.
Only required for Master's candidates are:
-
Copy of your university diploma that accredits the completion of university bachelor's degree. (An official version in Spanish, duly apostilled or legalized, will be required later during the admission process).
-
Certification of undergraduate qualifications, including a list of courses, grades, and number of credits per course. (An official transcript in Spanish will be required later during the admissions process, duly signed and stamped by the issuing institution.)
-
Proof of instrumental English language proficiency (Mandatory requirement for people whose native language is not English. The proof must be presented when formalizing the enrollment).
Important note about the documents required to apply for the scholarship:
All documents submitted by applicants will be assumed to be truthful and legally valid during the initial stages of the application process. No apostille or legalization will be requested at this stage. However, formal verification of the authenticity and legality of the documents will be required at the time of enrollment.
In the event that the documents cannot be proven to be legal or true, the scholarship will be revoked immediately, regardless of the status of the process or whether it has already been provisionally awarded.
All candidates are advised to ensure that they have the documentation duly issued by the competent authorities in their home countries.
